Our Founder / Executive Director
Pacific Prep School was established in 1990 by Lynda Way. After teaching Kindergarten through second grade for many years, Lynda realized children needed a quality program that focused on “School Readiness.”
Children coming into Kindergarten with their Physical, Socio-Emotional, and Academic skills in place, creates the foundation for a successful transition into their elementary years, and sets the stage for future learning!
Lynda’s 50+ years of success in working with young children, teachers, and families, along with her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, are reflected in the quality of Pacific Prep School’s developmentally appropriate program, where children are prepared for Kindergarten and Beyond!

A high level of genuine communication between Parents, Staff,
and Administration is an essential ingredient in the quality operation
of Pacific Prep School. We believe the Parent-School relationship is essential in supporting your child’s development and learning success! To achieve this open communication, you will see that our Administrative Offices are centrally located to encourage easy physical and visible access! We welcome your connection by stopping in to say "Hello," ask a quick question, or schedule an appointment!
In addition, this design allows our Administrative Team to easily monitor the entrance and exit area for increased awareness and security. It also creates the ability to view our Classrooms as well!
Everyone on our Administrative Team has an Early Childhood Education background, including coursework and experience, with specialized training in their areas of responsibility. They are always ready to collaborate and communicate with our Families daily, giving our students the best possible support and resources!
Our Office Managers
…Keep the “business” of our schools up-to-the-minute with maintaining accurate records, information, security practices, annual tuition, monthly payments, and communications with you! They have a background in Early Childhood Education and get to know every child and parent attending our Early Education Prep School! They are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. You will enjoy your trusting relationship with the amazing Office Manager at your Location!

Our Teachers
Our Teachers are experienced, educated, and – most importantly, dedicated to young children's education! Each teacher is experienced with specialized classes/degrees in Early Childhood Education.
They understand the critical significance and impact that your child's Readiness for Kindergarten can have on, not only "Kindergarten Success" but their 1st, 2nd, 3rd grade success…and beyond!
Of course, it is essential that their needs be taken into serious consideration. Given the space available, we have included separate staff bathroom facilities, a teacher work area, and storage. Our kitchen is designed to accommodate a pleasant and relaxing break. In addition, our Teachers have a daily Prep Time to plan for your child's experiences.
Meeting the needs of our teachers is essential to helping them meet your children's needs. Each teacher makes a special contribution to our program, in addition to their knowledge of child development, teaching strategies, classroom management, and communicating with you, the Parents!
Role of Our School Staff
Our Health, Safety, and Nutrition Supervisors
…Are responsible for planning, shopping, and preparing nutritious snacks, including any specific allergy needs. In addition, they oversee our custodial service and Teachers "to" ensure our early education environment is safe, clean, and emergency-ready!
Our Afternoon Enrichment Teachers
…Are here for our children, who will stay for the longer days until 3:30 or 5:00! They plan and implement the Early Education curriculum according to the children’s needs, interests, and as an extension of the skills from their morning classes.
Our Program
Resource Teacher
…Are the liaisons between the Administration and the Classroom Teacher. They are responsible for supporting our Teachers with time, materials, and teaching strategies. This is a critical year for children.
Our Program Resource Teacher is there for every child, working with your Classroom Teacher to ensure a successful acquisition of all skills needed for Kindergarten and beyond!
